I am successful

oh yes I believe I am
I understand that
and so do other people

I incite the image of an instance
CROSS referenced with time

linear measurement has all ways fascinated me
partly because we are so young, compared to everything
compared to common cornucopia
coping with common illnesses

this is a day where success comes easy
where that instance of fame comes like a summer breeze in cool shade

summer shaded shadows of Sodom
greeted by greatness with a dash of Gomorrah
helping heart filled insanity
understanding broad vanity
tearing down shrines shedding light
towering over trying dreams
of total domination

revealing Revelations
to mass nationalization

where does this insatiable desire come from
to believe in a trinity so utterly flawed?
why is it that you must believe in such ignorance
ignoring that fact that freedom is really a dream

freedom is really a dream
that only comes in an instance
when you believe that this wooden T
will really save you

oh yes I believe I am successful
and I fully understand that
I have succeeded
in nothing

Oh gosh there are so many parts of this poem i love. the references to Sodom and Gomorrah, the ignorance to believe in what so many other ignorant people believe and entirely forget about the beauty of freedom, and of course this all brings the destination of succeeding in nothing. so amazing.
