The Rat Race

by Marissa Cabot   Jan 23, 2006

Sometimes it seems I'm that much closer

To winning this whole thing

The rat race we call life
But suddenly I see

Nothing but a cold, white wall

Myself under a sheet,

No one here can help me

I cannot feel my feet

Nor anything for that matter

Winning the rat race

Is no simple feat.
