Torn Dreams

by LonelyNightsHurt   Jan 23, 2006

She just wants to be left alone…
To cry in her own waste…
She doesn’t want you catching her tears…
For some reason, she likes the taste….

Tears remind me her of her ambition…
Her dreams failed, and torn…
They remind her of who she was…
Before her heart was battered and worn…

They remind her of their love…
And how at one time it was so sweet…
But the salt stings, and reminds it her…
Of how they were over, her final defeat…

The tear stained pillows that she loves…
Are more like her family, they’re so real…
She know what they hold inside…
And she knows by the way they feel…

And hidden somewhere in her room…
Lays her lover, the one she confides upon…
The one that has kept her alive…
Through each and every day, so agonisingly along…

The tear stained pillows that she loves…
Are more like her family, they’re so real…
She know what they hold inside…
And she knows by the way they feel…

And hidden somewhere in her room…
Lays her lover, the one she confides upon…
The one that has kept her alive…
Through each and every day, so agonisingly along…

The scabs and the sores, lie there…
And bloody, bruised and so red…
Just a tiny little reminder…
Of every night she wished for dead…
