My Vampiric Love

by PaperAngel   Jan 25, 2006

Piercing through my neck, a flash of ivory,
A burst of pain, then nothing,
You hold me so stead, I could almost think you capable of love,
You laid me down so gently, bathing my body in the sadistic moonlight.

You hold me again now, in your dead grasp,
Even Hell's burning fires, could not make me sweat as much as you do,
Your voice filled with the cries of your victims, why didn't you kill me too,
Is it all that possible, that you love me too?

Heavy breathing, and the flapping of bats wings,
A dark howl rising over the mountains, an eerie noise caught in the dead-lights of your eyes,
And I watch a grim smile widen across your mouth, something that would chill even the bravest of hearts,
But you've already stopped my heart, stopped it with your poisoned kiss.

Stay with me until the stars burn out, until the whole world shatters into decay,
Never let me go, our love is as immortal as we are,
Lift me into a sweet ecstasy, as only your lifeless touch can,
Hold me a slave to your evocative gaze, and make me bow down to your morbid powers.

But now I know all your secrets, all the lies you failed to hide,
An immortal life with you, a monster becomes impossible to bear,
Hand me a stake and let me drive it through my chest, I can take no more,
Let me die one final time, and burn what little remains of me,
A last time standing under the moon, her ghostly smile bearing down on my as I meet my final doom.
