My pain

I'm not suicidal
i don't want to die
I'm not Gothic
i just need to cry

thats not who i am though
its not what people expect from me
I'm the "perfect image"
of what people want to see.

the truth is too hard to handle
too hard for you to see.
you wont let me be
who i really want to be.

you don't have to see me cry cuz
I've found a new way to grieve
it might not be the best way
it might be a little hard to believe

yes thats right,
the girl hiding behind the books
has a little secret
when nobody looks

one cut of the wrist
a slit of a vain
quickly eases
all my pain.

all of the pain
in the world is gone
when I get back, I sit on my bed
waiting for something else to go wrong.

    Thank you all so much for your comments! im glad at least some ppl like what i write, if my parents saw my poems they would think i have a sick mind and send me to the grace unit, i know because they did it to my sister! so thank you i really apreiciate it! XOXOXO~Stephanie
