Believe in Me

Why is it that
my poems come
in anger

why is it that
through depression
comes inspiration

why not happiness
or love
or even friendship

could it be that
i am denied this
life

is not hope: truth
love: eternal
and peace: forever

losing myself
is not an option
is it

this is one fight
for faith
or leveled inspiration

life is the
absence of death
