Don't you dare

by Heather*-*   Jan 27, 2006

**My grandma has cancer so I'm writing this to her**please comment**

Don't you dare
Grandma you can't leave
you can't go anywhere
you need to stay with us

you are the only thing
holding this family together
i know your slipping
but please hold on

Its fate for you to pass on
the cancer is winning
but i just can't imagine you gone
try to stay as long as possible

I'm not ready for it to restart
I'm just coming to terms with my dads death
i miss him with all my heart
if you die it'll break all over again

i love you
and i will until the day i die
and after that a life time or two
i just don't want to say goodbye

I feel you on this poem, because when my mom passed. my grandma passed 1 year after that. I was going through so much then. Her death just added another strain on me. But I like your point keep up the good work.
