Poor Child You Cried

by Brittany Stone   Jan 30, 2006

Poor girl you cried
her smile was just a frown,
she turned around to fool the world
poor child you cried
as she covered her scars,
with the laughter and happy faces
poor child you cried
as she wept herself to sleep,
because her dreams were to much to take
poor child you cried
as she took her own life,
just to forget everything he said
poor child you cried
as the feild layed empty
with nothing but a coffin
no visitors to wish her goodbye
poor child you cried
at her funeral she was all alone
just like every other day
when she was alive
