I'm the hypocrite?

by Clay   Jan 30, 2006

You call me the hypocrite
but with that i must disagree
for what i say and what i do
is just a mere formality

you should know the real me
would never seek to hurt
but often times i am forced
to with secrets, flirt

i\'m sorry if ive caused
pain, grief, or sorrow
but often i must say one thing
to make a better tomorrow

some people live to lie
while others lie to live
but with lies come justice
and thats all i want to give

i may not always tell you
what i really mean
but you\'ll just have to trust
that my intentions are clean

i\'m sorry if i\'ve lead you on
to believe something untrue
but often i make mistakes
because i\'m only human too

so yes you may call me a hypocrite
for that i\'ve learned to live by
but don\'t even think for a minute
that my soul intention is to lie
