Moth to a flame

I cant give you up
like a moth to a flame.
I see you drifting out of time,
Somethings on your mind.
Is it that time i flew
out on an aeroplane?
And you wondered
if you would ever see me again?
I see you breathing it back
into life, re-living that moment
that could have changed your life.
Is it that time i said
I will let you go?
I see you gazing to the sky
I see your eyes looking at
my tired eyes, you saw my pride.
I cant give you up
like a moth to a flame.
I see you drifting out of time,
I see you drifting out my mind.
Something has brought
tears to your eyes.
And Im here asking myself why?
