Love has spoken

by natalie   Jul 25, 2006

Don't whisper love and dream
of wedding bells.
Don't do all the work
let it speak itself.

When you feel a little unhappy
stare love in the face
put it back in its rightful place.

From the day it came
to the day it left.
It will leave its mark
right on your perfect heart.

And it will not say goodbye
just like it didn't say hello.
In the morning it will wake you
and at night it will take you.

Love takes your feelings
and ties them in a knot.
It says look what Ive got
A man and a women.

But guess what they've forgot?
They've forgot the pain it brings.
And they forget it lingers,
And it will also slip through
their fingers.

And it comes and goes like the tide
be careful you don't get stranded.
The warning of love has spoken
but still we find our hearts broken.
