A Love Torn At Both Ends

by Nicholas Kerst   Jan 30, 2006

A ghost is all thats left,
Of a love that once was loving,
A grave is what was dug,
For a love that now is nothing.

Dreams came true but we knew,
This will end in broken hearts,
Nothing lasts forever,
And this is one thing that wont restart.

So sorrowful lips kissed,
One more last time to end it all,
And our eyes met again,
And how we saw loves kingdom fall.

It crumbled and was over,
Only dust and empty space remains,
Sadness spilled over our hearts,
We can only wish that time fades stains.

It ripped at our souls,
Now no one can hear our voices,
And were emotionless,
Now dying hearts make our choices.

Did we really want this?
Is depression waiting ahead?
Will we live through this?
Or does this hold our deaths?
