Some people think
Im weird
Because I write poetry

Poetry is a way
For me to
Express my feelings

Its no different
Then you talking to
Your friends
Or family
And telling them things
To let it all out
And get it off you chest

Poetry has saved me
Saved me from
Hurting inside
It saved me from
Al the crying
That was sure to come

All in all
Poetry has saved my life
If I hadnt written
All those poems
I would have
Kept it all inside
And sooner or later
I would have
Exploded

And my life
Might be over
If not for poetry
So all in all
