Truth and Lies

by bouncy   Jan 31, 2006

You tell me a lie and i think its the truth.
I feel like you use me for pleasures of your youth.
I gave you my heart my soul and my dreams.
You took them from me without saying thank you.
Leaving me cold and alone i feel nothing but regret.
The pain of your love is still in my mind.
I still feel the bruses you left inside.
As i take the petals off this daisy i end at not.
I'm crying in the same spot you left me to rot.
The beats of our songs we danced seem to fade.
Everything changed, we thought we had it made.
Never again can i fall in love.
That feeling flew away with a hurt white dove,
I reach out for a sign of relief.
But i fall again back to this grief.
Why did you hurt me and leave me like this.
I thought we could try to remeniss.
I keep in my mind all those memories of what was.
I see now what a thug love does.
