Convenience Friends

by Brook   Feb 1, 2006

I hate how you ignore
Only when they're around

Like you're too good
For everyone else

You say you don't think that way
Well, maybe you don't

But the way you act
When he's around

It's like we don't exist
Only when he hurts you

Then you talk to us
Like nothing happened

And the sad thing is
We play along,

Not wanting to lose you,
Or even fight.

We can't see our lives without you
Our "best friend"

and we're you're
Convenience friends
