Thanks For The Broken Home.

by Not Bulletproof   Feb 2, 2006

Thanks for not caring anymore, you know,
Just what I asked for, so long ago.
I like how my dreams come true,
Months after I ever wanted them to.

The time I want you to ask how I am,
You refuse to say anything to me.
I don't think it's even on your mind,
But I think about it, so don't you worry.

The pain races through my broken heart,
And another stitch rips right apart.
What would I ever do without you?
I couldn't imagine being happy, too.

Dangle the pieces in front of my eyes,
Teasing me with the harm you bring.
I don't want to care about you anymore,
But to me, you'll always be something.

And whilst I should be so important,
You make me feel so insignificant.
If I ever lose what self-control I own,
You can thank yourself and our broken home.

I love how you made it sound sarcastic, like it was just saying a big 'thanks for nothing'... very unique
keep it up, you're on my favourites xxx
