Your Best Friend

by Simon Hayes   Feb 2, 2006

I'll always be your best friend
You never have to ask
I'll be there right by your side
Through every painful task

Daddy will never hurt you
Like some friends tend to do
Our friendship will be solid
I'll be caring, fun and true

But most of all my dearest
When the sun just doesn't shine
Daddy, your friend will light the way
Together we'll be just fine

Awww this is so cute..I read the thread about your little girl! that's so cute! My dad always said he'd be my best friend too...we have the strongest relationship but as we grow older (i say we as in us girls) we don't hang out with daddy much but some still have a solid relationship.....I hope you don't ever grow apart from that bond!! Lovely write!
