Somehow---*

by Liz   Feb 3, 2006

The cold of this night can't compare

Oblivious to this reality

That you are no longer there

And I run from this grief

Strong and protective you stand in my heart

That moment took my friend away from my grasp

I dress in black to pay my respect that you deserve

I stand next to you life less coffin
Brown and black box of despair

This life isn't always fair

But this is just cruel

I run from those memories i knew

This wasn't meant for you

You know that's true

And as you look down on us from somewhere far above

I want you to know that we'll somehow make it

Somehow make it with out you.
