Valentines poem(was for my ex)

A poem that I'm gonna give my man for v-day

this poems for you
as a sign of my love
I'm here by your side
with a kiss and a hug

even though we may argue
i know we'll pull through
cause you are my baby
and i am your boo

when I'm not with you
its hard to sleep at night
i dream that I'm next to you
in your arms wrapped up tight

but then i wake up
to my still empty bed
whisper "I love you"
with nothing back said

at first i was scared
afraid i might fall
but down i went
and i wouldn't trade it at all

cause all the love
that history knows
is said to be
in every rose

yet all that could be
found in two
is less than what
i feel for you

in-fact, any amount
couldn't equal the sum
to doubt my love
would just be plain dumb

so four months have passed
and hopefully four more
you took the key to my heart
and then you opened the door

i let you in
with arms open wide
never looking back
cause I'm so down to ride

come what may
and come what might
ill never let go
i'm gonna hold on tight

if you ever need anything
I'm always here
with a helping hand
or a listening ear

would i play you?
hell no, that ain't me
I've been faithful to you
and always will be

now to bring this poem
finally to an end
you not only my man
your my best friend
