Never again

by Wildflower   Feb 3, 2006

His eyes speak of pain
The smile on his face fake
He’s thinking, what’s there to gain?
If he puts everything at stake
Tell her he loves her
That she keeps him sane

Tell her his heart is bleeding
His soul is yearning for the past
His lips quivering
With surrender to what happened at last

She chose another
Perhaps it could have been him
At some other time
When it was just the two of them
But problems kept them apart
And anger shot it’s bullets through their loving hearts

Torn apart in the inside
Crying with a smile of pure joy
Congratulating the two lovebirds
Oh how I ache for that boy

He wishes her happiness
The kind she would have had with him
But he tries not to think about that
She looks so beautiful , too beautiful it must be a sin

He aches for the love in her eyes
He aches for the touch of her skin against his
He aches for the warmth of her heart that shines
He aches to have her all for himself
