Love as touch

by Ash LEIGH   Feb 4, 2006

Happiness lingers,
a gentle touch
upon a quivering lip
so gentle and soft.

helpless in moving
not wanting to dream
a love spoken soft with fingertips
and a loving ear listens

speechless of words
and utterly silent
a peice of hair is brushed away
and eyes close to rest

not a word is spoken
touch is their words
and now everything is alright
in her world.
