Precious

by Ash LEIGH   Feb 4, 2006

Her hand wraps around my finger
and a tear falls down my face
this instant love for another being
i never thought would be the case

her eyes resemble daddy's
and her nose resembles mine
with the love that shared between us all
this tiny family will be just fine

As we sit in her rocking chair
and her tiny hair i twirl
i can't help but thinking
will she be mine or daddy's little girl

I always believe in love you see
but never at first sight
but since now on, my precious one
i have seen the light

your Mommy's tears are happy ones
for she's brought a miracle to this world
and you will always be
my precious little girl.
