Inside Her Heart

by Erica   Feb 4, 2006

Morning has broken
The sun shines so bright
But inside her heart
She only feels night

Children are singing
There eyes filled with dreams
But inside her heart
She only hears screams

A world filled with joy
Love one can't explain
But inside her heart
She only sees pain

Sniffing the roses
That her boyfriend bought
But inside her heart
She only smells rot

Sipping lemonade
Cozy by the shore
But inside her heart
She only tastes gore

Shes lost all feeling
On her wrist she bled
Cuz inside her heart
She only feels dead
