Goodbye

The starts are slowly fading,
As I look into the sky,
And my arm I am shading,
Withe crimson red, and tears from my eyes.

I close eyes and I'm hoping,
That I'll sleep and never awake,
And easily with my passing you'll be coping,
For tonight my life, I had to take.

But if you look closely,
One thing you'll clearly see,
"Pain" is under the blood, mostly,
And pain's what's within me.

My heart it has been torn,
As my loved ones have been taken away,
And their leaving I do mourn,
Which is why I can't live another day.

So that word I have said,
And said it with a twist,
Was spoken with a razor blade,
And was carved in my wrist.

And as this blood runs down my hand,
And my cuts can't be taken back,
I'll give life in this land,
And let my world fade to black.
