Suffering Spirit

by The Spirit of Ash   Feb 7, 2006

I walk out of class
with a smile on my face
I say hi to my friends
and walk a steady pace

Soon I'm shoved aside
As a group glares, and passes through
I build up an anger, but then let it go
Knowing there is nothing I can do

I unfold an old note
From my lost friend
Him and me never talk anymore
Talking just came to an end

That one friend I miss so much
Cause i liked him more than that
Never got my chance to speak...
I ignore it all; fold that note flat

I come home to shouting
I hate it so much
No happy family here
It's a battle; a hard clutch

These are just memories of mine
A summery of a sort
People treat life like fun and games
For me, it's no sport

It feels so weird now
Typing it in a poem
As I sit at my computer
Feeling so alone....

On how i feel....
I might as well give a speech
My spirit is dieing now
Being sucked away by a leach

I know how you feel. Especially with the shouting at home...that goes on a lot at my house too. Great poem!! 5/5
