In the river.

by Fits   Feb 7, 2006

In this river, I take this plunge, cold I shiver, I want some, warmth, I need it, I can not stand, why do I shiver, I am man.
In this river, I swim alone, cold and darkness, fills my bones, why this river, I am alone.
In this river, I stand through, this pain I feel, it is from you, care to give it, I am down on my knees, In this river, I drown and bleed.
In this river, cough up blood, who is forgiven, can't take some, water around me, dark filled sky, river surrounds me, here I lie.
Stuck in this mud, I am all I can give, floating here because I can not swim, opened lungs fill up they do, here I am drowning...drowning for you.
