Chapters of my life

As I read through the chapters of my life, Memories deluge my mind.

Reflecting on my past, scars I still see.
Life to me has been so cruel.

I have been through a great deal of agony.
I have lived a hard life too.

I have been deceived by so many.
I have been hurt by them too.

Too long is my story, not enough time to tell.
You would not believe it, if I told it to you.

I remember those days as if it were yesterday.
Sill haunted by all the deceptions.

Although today a stronger woman I am,
I can not forget the chapters of my life.

So I try to go on with my life, as I hide
behind my smile, the story of my life.
