The Wind Whispers

by Beautiful~*~Dragons~*~Fire   Feb 8, 2006

The wind whispers
Along the shores of a distant land.
Carved and re carved,
By the oceans mighty hand.

The wind whispers
Through a forest dark and deep.
Battling the elements,
On a mountain broad and steep.

The wind whispers
Across a wide and sunlit meadow.
Teeming with life,
In the mighty mountains shadow.

The wind whispers
Through my copper colored hair.
Waving ever so gently,
As I sit on a back porch chair.

This is such a serene piece, one is so at peace after reading it. the graceful diction and flow of the poem make it indeed a beautiful poem. I like your choice of a refrain at the begining for each stanza which has works wonders for the poem. Keep up the good work.

    Warmest regards,

    Steve
