Bleeding Mascara

by Renee Maree   Feb 9, 2006

Through bloodshot eyes my closure brings me strength,
where crouched in my corner my position any length.
My tears start to trace the path bleeding mascara into the track, streams down my face of pure porcelain cheeks imprints of grey and black.
my hands start to shake and my lips start to freeze,
rocking back and forth i feel my wrist and squeeze.
depression starts to kick in and my feelings start to drown,
as i whisper in your ear and my face wears a frown.

Trace the track of my tears and follow my bleeding mascara,
whisper that you hate me so my life cant go no farther.
blow against my neck and calm my gentle rock,
hold me tight and break my bones, seal my lips and keep the lock.
lay with me and protect me from the night,
ill hold your hand and apologize for not making things right.

Beat me up and punish me for my wrongs,
but speak to me your words and sing me your songs.
break my heart and rip my soul,
sew me up and cover my holes.
one more time hold me in your arms and kiss my trembling hands,
gently whisper to tell me this isn't the end.
