Until we grow old

Time keeps passing,
It doesn't stand still...
We started out with that hole
That we needed to fill

The years have past
And memories were made
Words were said...
And that hole started to fade

We all grew up
And become whole together
And now until the end of time
We promise to love each other forever

We've hit some hard times
And some of us fell down
But we stuck together
And got through that horrible round

If i can't smile
Yous will make me shine
If i can't walk
Yous will walk the line

Through all my hard times
You all pulled me through
Even when i became stubborn
You all knew what to do

And now we sit here
Half-way through high school years
Reminiscing on the past
And bringing back some tears

Just to give a thought
Of 5 years down the road
Where will we all be?
Will we be unknown?

Is there ever a time
When your hand will slip from mine?
All of our memories
Will we have to leave behind?

When we step into the real world
Will you be by my side
Because i promise i will
And i have never lied

We all grow up
Memories are permanent
And the life we lived together
Was also known as 'heaven-sent'

Some of us will marry
Some will become rich
Some will have kids
Some lives will have a major switch

Some might pass away
Some might end up in jail
But my words, i promise,
That they will never fail

All hands in the circle
And on the count of three
Lets scream "Best Friends"
And live the life for all of us to see

Excellent poem. A little long, but i really really enjoyed it. Great job! If you really have friends like this, don't let them go, they are hard to find. :)

Great poem, reminds me about my circle of friends from high school. True friendship is a blessing, and it takes alot of work to keep it going. So if you really have found your true friends, then make the effort to keep them. 5/5
