I have friend

This poem is dedicated to my friend -....I know its long but please rate and comment -Thank You

I have a friend
but she screams out in silence
She tries to make a sound
But nothing happens
She tries to speak
cause she has something to say
but she cries at night
her heart sees no day
who's gonna help my friend over come her disability

I have a friend
she is always scared
afraid to talk to someone
and thinks now one cares
He comes home drunk every night and peeps into her room
comes under her sheets
and the only witness is the moon
Who's gonna help my friend over come her abuse

I have a friend
She finds comfort in the sword
She cries every night
as she writes her life on her arm
She only wears long sleeve her clothes covered in blood
No one seems to notice
She wants to go back to the mud
Who's gonna help mu friend overcome cutting

I have a friend
but she thinks she need to be perfect
She thinks she needs to fit in
with the people that are mean to her
She starves her self
so that she gets the "shape"
her grades get lower
They laugh at her anyway
Who's gonna help mu friend overcome peer pressure

I have a friend
he has no family
he sleeps in the park
and ask for money
his parents left him in the mall when he was 2
but when you sit and talk to him
he is just like me and you
Who's gonna help my friend overcome poverty

I have a friend
He is sick
he doesn't have any hair
and he is a small as a sick
They make him hurt so he can feel "better"
he lost out a normal life
of a 16 year old teenager
Who's gonna help my friend over come his disease

I have a friend
She always is smiling
She always happy
but when she close those doors shes crying
She puts on a fake smile
and acts like everything is OK
Doesn't tell anyone that she is feeling this way
Who's gonna help my friend overcome depression

I have a friend
he has strange feelings
He likes his brothers friend
Who's is a guys like he is
he hangs out with girls
cause they seem to understand him
but all the "cool" guys do is beat up on him
Who's gonna help my friend over come prejudice

I have a friend
She is black
her parents moved her away
To the another side of the track
She was happy where she was
everyone treated her fine
but soon those people will cross the line
Who's gonna help my friend over come racism

I had a friend
She seemed to be OK
but the gun was calling her name
We never listened to her silent cries
that day we never even got a chance to sat good bye
I wish i could change the past
Look deeper into those brown eyes
and see the hurt and lies
A broken heart behind that fake smile
Time and time again the gun called her name
It cant be she was only 17
We lost one already
We don't want to loose another
from now on i will be my brothers keeper
if on one else is gonna help us over come
I will help and together we will grow strong!!!
