The coldest season of the year
became the most depressing
once a lie of Santa Claus
now a time of stressing
One life after another
falling down like dominoes
a time of loneliness and despair
and this is how it goes
Once upon a time
a little girl grew up happy
finally went to middle school
then her life turned crappy
Little things she never noticed
leaped out to her surprise
one thing after another
filled with torture and lies
Friends started to turn on her
her parents started to fight
school was no help
and there was no more light
Young and naive as she was
she cried herself to sleep
didn't want to eat no more
the hole she dug was deep
She hoped for a better tomorrow
the only thought that saved her
suicidal in her mind
everything was just a blur
She came to accept life as it is
and began to really smile
though her life still isn't in order
it won't be for a while
