Fooled

by starryoceanights   Feb 10, 2006

You might be fooling all the world
With that girl you're pretending to be
We used to be bests-but then you turned away
Pushed your knife to my back with such glee
But then you pretend to be innocent
And when we talked you were quick to agree
That you in wrong-that I had been right
And please, could I set your guilt free?
I don't really care-but you can take your fake stare
Away with those lies you told me
Go pretend and carve knives with some other girl
But I promise someday you'll pay fees
The girl who is fake doesn't learn what it takes
To live life and let faith hold the key
You might be fooling all the world
But girl, you ain't foolin me.
