The Angels Tears

by LovesColdEmbrace   Feb 10, 2006

She cradled his body

in her trembling arms

she kissed his lips tenderly

Wishing she could have saved him from harm

His blood bled out

in a crimson stream

as she prayed to God

to let it all be a dream

Her love was gone

his blood stained her gown

his heart was no longer beating

He wasn't making a sound

He was a demon

and she pure being

They fell in love

And their love took wing

It was forbidden

to form love of dark and light

but love is just something

that's to hard to fight

They met in secret

In a world called Earth

and from their love

a baby girl she gave birth

They kept their child a secret

for she would be put to death

If they had any notion of her parents sin

nothing would be left

They planned to run away

and go to their haven

but their plan was discovered

and death called on the wings of a raven

The troops descended

on either side

hers light his dark

there was no where to hide

Thousands of years later

a similar story was told

of a Romeo and Juliet

In the human kind days of old

He was her Romeo

and she his Juliet

they died in the name of love

Love that lingers yet

As we go back

to the story's start

this young Angel

cried tears from the heart

She thought of her love

Who would soon become dust

And her heart broke in pieces

and the pieces turned to rust

She kissed their child

And then kissed his dead frozen lips in goodbye

and walked away

wishing she could die

She wrapped her darling baby

in a bundle with care

and kissed her forehead

"I'm sorry i won't be there"

She walked down to the villiage

and placed the child at the foot of a door

And she knocked then hid in the bushes

As grief struck her to the core

With more tears shed

She walked away

Silently wishing

there would be another way

She walked to her dead loves body

and took the arrow out

and thrust it into her heart

so there could be no doubt

She was once again with her love

And they were locked in an eternal embrace

as he kissed her tenderly

and wiped the tears from her face

Her heart is glad

and her spirit is light

And never again has there been

light without the darkness of night

This is amazing. It touches me deeply. A very narrative write and yet you manage to make it flows so well. =) Though I think it'd be better if you separate it into stanzas but I don't know how it will turn out. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed reading this. Every words keep me going to the very end. Thanks for sharing. =D
