I Lost But I Tried

by Kayd   Feb 11, 2006

He seems to quit,
When I come near,
It's almost like,
He can't hear.

Doesn't he bother,
To just be kind,
And try this once,
As it's on my mind?

I try once more,
Then again and again,
But he pulls aways,
Goes back to "hismen".

Why can't he see,
As I can do,
What they are,
Then ask them who?

They think they are,
To take the damned,
Them make them whole,
To put them in their hand.

You see, I try,
To pull him back,
Cause he's better than them,
And that's a fact,

But he just can't take it,
It's too hard to chew,
And now he's lost,
Outside and through.
