Life is Waiting for You

by Matt   Feb 12, 2006

In my life I've done some things
That would make the devil cry
And Pandora turn away in anguish
I've done things that makes God laugh
And the angels sing their praises
But in the end, it doesn't matter
Because the end result is greater
Than every sum of every part we make
"Live your life so you'll be remembered"
That's what everyone tells me
But I'd rather live my life for another
To give my soul a break from its wandering
And my heart a rest from its misery
My time here is short, and all so precious
That instead of my life to be remembered
And eventually forgotten in some generations
I'll leave this, which will last for eternity

We pick up our coats every day
Sling them over our shoulders and walk on
Never thinking about it being our last chance
But that's what it is, every single time
It's our last chance to do right
To make up for all the pain we cause
Never thinking we affect people with action
To love the people around us with all we have
Always remembering how much we care
And to know at least one life has breathed easier
Because success isn't what we do while we're here
It's what we leave after we're gone
Which could be any second now, any moment passing
Just remember, we all must die, we all go away
So why are you wasting your time?
Go, live, be free for the last few seconds
Because every second is your last...

You have a great point. Live life to the fullest. Dont just go through life thinking You're immortal.. You will die and it could be in the next 5 seconds, minutes, hours, years, decades, etc. Just go out there and enjoy all of life.
