Desire

I wish i could tell you how i feel,
that constant fear of rejection.

as i see you standing there
i feel my heart race as i stare,
your smile is way beyond compare,
talk to you i would not dare.

oh, i wish i could tell you how i feel,
but that constant fear of rejection.

p.s. this is my first ever poem, i had to write it in English class a couple of years back...so be nice.
