I am a mother

by leeanne   Feb 13, 2006

I am a mother this is true
I have 5 daughters we are a crew
The oldest is sixteen
The youngest is 4 and mean
I am not biologically her mother
But i was there like no other
I accepted her into our lives
I have been there through her cries
I will be there and watch her grow
I will be there and watch her go
She is ours just like the rest
We will be there through life's tests
This i will say to all my daughters
just remember blood is always
thicker than water
So take this in just like no other
And remember this i am your
MOTHER!!

I loved this poem. It was really sweet and I can kind of relate becasue I'm like a second mother to my niece. I gave it a 5...Thanks for the comment...I always return the favor
