An Angels Remarks

One night I saw an angel, or at least I thought she was.
Smiling at me greatly, shining from above.
Wings so widely spread, white with no trace of sin
Walking to my window, I quickly let her in.
She said her visit was urgent and would be quite brief,
Wrapping her wings around me, the smell of heaven so sweet.
"My child", she said looking straight into my eyes, "please know that I am here for you, will never leave your side.
God called me home to be with him, for he thought my time was up. But I see you crying from a far, darling your beautiful... never give up!"
