Special

by Zundricia   Feb 14, 2006

Something hard to find-
No matter how many stones I overturn
and rainbows I look behind.
A quality that only you possess
with such grace and style-
you could easily sustain life
with the light of your smile.
Special as unforgettable,
wrapped in irreplaceable.
Imitated, never duplicated—
like only natural wonders are supposed to
You hang with the moon, stars,
and constellations; remarkable quasars-
Out of place among ordinary people,
because they're not your equal-
Only celestial lights can touch or come close
to the awe and magnitude of only you
Sooner heaven and earth pass away
and mountains uproot from grounds
where they usually stay
Before anyone dare disrespect you
and treat you as if they didn't know
how special you truly are,
and how with each day your legacy grows
Its called "Special"
