I Saw...

by Zundricia   Feb 14, 2006

If I could capture time to hold your embrace, the warmth of your arms close to me
I would commit the crime, just to feel you again, just this once I'd act selfishly
Rising off of your golden presence, emulating all that you are
I tried to know all of you in one night by holding your precious guitar
Rhythm and rhyme and movement all intertwined the first time we became one
In step, in harmony, with silent speech I demand your attention alone
I saw the melody; the notes came straight to me from you
You watched as I willingly succumbed to your lead as I will forever do
I followed the notes into the future; this you should know, it's a must
I know that it's too early to tell, but in the end I saw us
