Midnight promises

by Raydeen   Feb 15, 2006

Those whispers in my ear,
I thought I had nothing to fear.
Laying outside with you,
We'd watch the stars; you held me to.
Those promises you made under the midnight moon,
When you sang to me ; your voice had that perfect tune.
The days came and went time flew by,
The summer came to an end and we said good bye.
We called each other night after night,
It was amazing how not once did we fight.
See I've been trying to get a hold of you for awhile now,
You're gone, but why?How?
Your voice rings in my ears,
Breaks this heart and nearly brings me to tears.
The way you held me every night,
Held me so tight.
The way you brushed my hair from my face,
and those good times when you made my heart race.
When I remember the butterflies in my stomach every time I looked in your eyes,
My heart dies.
The way it was so prefect ; me and you,
No one could interfere it was just us two.
So I'll sit and reminisce,
You're that one true love, any girl would miss.
