THE DREAM

by Lisa Reed   Jan 15, 2004

I dream last night,
We walked along the sand,
The air was filled with sweet perfume,
You gently touched my hand.

Electric waves ran through my soul,
My heart burned with desire,
I never could imagine that,
Love could get me higher.

The waves they crashed against the rocks,
The breeze gently blew through my hair,
The butterfly sensation deep down inside,
And all because your there.

I don't know how you've took over my mind,
I feel I've lost all control,
My body has never felt so weak,
A miracle surely that I'll leave untold.

You gently brush my hair from my face,
You lean in so very close,
I could feel your breath upon my neck,
The feeling I love most.

When you whisper the words I want to hear,
My knee's go weak and I'm glad your near,
Your arms softly swing around me,
And again I lose all my fear.

I then turn and catch your gaze,
You can see I speak right from my heart,
When I say the words I love you,
And I hope we never part.
