Beauty of Night

by Ken   Feb 17, 2006

As the sun sets in the sea
and the moon rises on the water,
the lighting of night, magnificent.
The twinkle of the stars
on a cool clear eve,
and the summer air
with a crisp breeze.
The beauty of night,
calm, and silent.
Then coming to my ears
the sound of morning birds,
and the rising of the sun
follows over the mountain tops.
Another night at its end
and with it,
the end my of letter.
Goodbye my love,
until I may see you again,
for all the beauties
within the world,
without you,
mean nothing.
