How Misleading

by Ken   Feb 21, 2006

Love;
How misleading it is;
not really knowing what love is,
For it is as a fantasy,
yet we are led to believe it\'s real.
when,
In fact, it is the world greatest lie.
And what we should believe love is,
is nothing more then a definition,
A simple word
found upon the open pages of a dictionary,
And still you say there is truth within it.
What truth,
could possibly be found in love.
Other then,
the one we find amongst ourselves
Which by the same clouded mind
misguides,
and misleads us.

I was one, such misled,
and i had a heart,
once.
But it tore me apart,
leaving me with nothing,
nothing except pain,
and suffering.
And so I\'ve painted my heart black,
betraying all capability for love,
For it was that, which you call love
that left me dead

    I'm sorry you feel that way about love,
    Unfortunately thats just the way it works sometimes.
    You havent felt love until your whole family hates you and one person shows you so much kindness and respect.
    That my friend is love.

    I suppose i may feeel that way about love sometimes, maybe even now. But not from this person.....
