Anorexic

by Unknown2Thyself   Feb 19, 2006

Before I meet her she was just another person,
Someone who was another one of the world.
Then I got to talking to her,
We became friends, then we became best friends.

Slowly she opened up to me,
She told me her deepest darkest secret.
She was anorexic a toothpick to this world.
She had knocked on deaths doors and lived to tell the tale.

Now she's starting the same routine over again,
She's starting to lose the weight she tried so hard to gain.
She's tired of all the problems she faces,
The cutting, the depression, the multiple personality.

She's letting the food disappear from her diet,
Little by little more food disappears from her plate.
Sooner or later she'll be eating nothing.
She'll be heading back to the hospital with all her friends.

Her parents don't even notice that she's not eating again,
According to them she deserves to die.
She choices how she's going to live I can't stop her,
Yet there most be something I can do?

I can't just stand by and watch her vanish,
Yet I can't force her to eat for then she'd hate me.
So what do I do?
I can't watch my friend kill herself off!
