Why Could It Not Be You?

Staring out the window
You happen to pass me by
Instinctively, I knew you'd be there
Hopefully, I wanted you to be here
I just want to know why

Why you are with someone else
When it seemed you were meant to be
Awaiting me at the end of a journey
Through the years, through the heartbreak, through the tears
Why am I to be endlessly let down
How many more falls are to come
When all I need is someone strong
To help me to state of mind in which I belong
Why couldn't it be you?

You are such a stranger to me
Yet you have influence, what does this say?
Admist the tears, there must be something more
I was allured, I now break

I was psyched, I had hope, I have no more
Unknown, but you could make me smile
Maybe once, though underneath the pain is replacing
Unknown, should this be how you stay
I just want to know why

    I read it and I thought that it would make a great song, if thats what you were going to use it for. I liked the flow of it. I think that you have a lot of talent and that you used it very well. Keep up the good work because I know that you have it in you. *5/5* :)
