Sometimes

Sometimes the road doesn't always curve
The way you expect it to.
Sometimes people don't deserve
What god puts them through.

Sometimes you lose someone
Close to your heart
Who loves you more than you know
And never wanted you to part.

Sometimes you don't always
Get to say the things you want to
Before they go away
Especially the things that mean the most to you.
