Heartbreaker

by Chit Cyn   Feb 20, 2006

First the airman...
Next were two countrymen
Then the Irish, the French
The poet, who\'s next?
The CEO, the porno king...
Or the devil himself?
Another man in the league
In a roster of heartbreakers
No exception but pure deception
All of the above, a bunch of bullsh*t
Beware dear heart...
You dont want another heart attack,
Another sweetheart, another heartbreak
Have had enough...Fed up please!
Each one promised so unique
Of blue skies and lies
Of rosebed with thorns
Just to feed in the flesh!
Oh man! you deserve a toast...
Roast in charred red hot ember
Burn crisp! for manhaters to feast
Sooner you\'ll evaporate...
From the face of the earth!
Outcasted...pounded

Wow-this is scathing! But I can definitely relate(well, on the opposite level, with women)-sometimes love is one series of disappointments and heartaches, but never give up, for I still believe love is the most powerful thing on earth and as long as one don't lose the capacity for love, then all hope is not lost.Beware of walling up the heart.I love the emotion you have saturated this poem with-very well written and says a lot.Hope all is well.Take care.
