Reflection

by Katie Dean   Feb 21, 2006

She stands in front of her mirror expressionless,
Just looking at herself,

She could smile,
But that would be a lie.
She tries to smile,
But only cries.

Tears escape her eyes,
As they run down her face,
She closes her eyes
And wishes she could escape.

She could stand there forever,
Staring blankly at herself,
For the pain she feels inside,
She fears may never die.
